A Review of Geddy's Restaurant in Bar Harbor

Geddy's Main St, Bar Harbor near the water, is one of my favorite restaurants for many reasons. First of all, it has a unique atmosphere like nothing else on the island. The walls and roof is covered in signs and odd collectibles. Everywhere you look you will see something new and fun.

There are several table types to eat at; there is the low tops, the high tops, and the bar. The low tops are like normal tables, while the high tops are like sitting at your own personal bar table. From the bar you can see several TV's playing sports, the news, and popular TV shows.

Once you sit down, you get a place map to color in with crayons no matter what your age! As for the food; it is amazing! My personal favorite is the nachos. They come on this huge platter with all the works.

They also sell lobster, burgers, sandwiches, and more. The bar sells all the popular drinks, as well as some local brews.

Geddy's staff is fun and interesting to talk to. They are always willing to help pick out the best meal and talk about the town. Sometimes they even ask to take your picture for their web site!

At the end of your meal don't forget to visit the gift shop downstairs for t-shirts and gifts.
