Acadia National Park Weather & Climate

The weather in Acadia is what you might expect in Maine, lots of fog, rain, and mostly cooler temperatures, except for a few heady weeks in high summer, when it might actually get hot. And of course, some pretty severe winters.

If you're planning an Acadia vacation, be realistic. Bring warm clothes, an umbrella and/or raincoat and don't expect to work on your suntan too much. If you do have nice, warm, sunny days, let it be a pleasant surprise!
