Visiting Bar Harbor museums can be a fun way to spend the predictable rainy -- or foggy -- day in Bar Harbor.

Unfortunately, rain and fog are a pretty regular part of Acadia's daily weather. The first time we went there, our trip was only 5 days and we were lucky enough to have total sun the whole time. But, we've never repeated that feat again, through the next 5 trips!

Sooner or later, you will have a day of rain, or at least drizzle, or the fog will roll in thick as pea soup. When that happens, you're going to want something to do.
