Outdoor Dining at Jordan Pond House
Every year when I go to Maine for the summer, I go to a restaurant in Acadia National Park called Jordan Pond House. This restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and has some absolutely amazing food, even though it is a little bit expensive.
My family always goes in a very large group (anywhere from ten to twenty people). Even with so many people, it usually only takes about a half hour to be seated. And, of course, the popovers are absolutely amazing. They even sell their recipe and popover trays in their gift shop.
People can eat inside or outside. There was this one time that we went on a hike on one of the nearby mountains (I don't remember which) and ended up stuck in a rain storm at the top of the mountain. When we got to the restaurant, we were drenched from head to toe and ended up buying new shirts at the gift shop. It was priceless.
