Smuggler's Den Campground offers the best of all worlds. They have many activities including horseshoes and basketball. They also provide access to over 25 miles of hiking trails in Acadia National Park right from their property.

The campground is located in Southwest Harbor which tends to be the quieter side of the island. Most people stick to the Bar Harbor side, but Southwest Harbor offers its own charm, especially if you want to be near beautiful Echo Lake, which is only a 20-minute walk away.

It's a family-owned campground that has been in business for more than 40 years. Families tend to return to this campground year after year.

Every site is wooded in this campground and if you desire water and/or electric that is also available. There are both RV and tent sites.
